Over the three years I gained extensive experience and knowledge into the energy industry by completing numerous work placements with energy companies and businesses.鈥

鈥淯pon completion of my Conservation and Land Management MSc, I quickly gained employment as a project manager with a wildlife conservation charity. Many of the skills I developed as part of the course were essential in my day to day responsibilities including using geographical information software to map habitats, ecological sampling to assess population sizes and applying my understanding of metapopulations, habitat connectivity and management planning.鈥

鈥淭he best thing about the degree was the field trips. The university is set in perfect surroundings for looking at what you鈥檙e studying. The final year trip to Tenerife was brilliant. Spending the day in the sun on a 2000 year old lava field definitely beats sitting in a lecture theatre.鈥
