Events for Schools

鈥楾op of the Bench鈥� competition 鈥� 22nd聽January 2020

This exciting national chemistry competition invites schools to compete in the annual regional heat for the Royal Society of Chemistry 鈥楾op of the Bench鈥� competition, which is aimed at KS3 and KS4 students. The competition will take the format of a chemistry general knowledge quiz and will be hosted simultaneously at Coleg Llandrillo, Rhos on Sea Campus and Techniquest Glynd诺r.

Each school will be allowed to enter one team comprising of two year 9, one year 10 and one year 11 student.

Regional winners will be invited to take part in the UK National Final in London in the Spring of 2020.

Salters鈥� Festival of Chemistry 鈥� 22nd聽April 2020

The Salters鈥� Festival of Chemistry is an initiative of the Salters Institute, whose aim is to promote the appreciation of chemistry and related sciences among the young. This event is for years 7 and 8.
