Chloe Lloyd - BA Geography
Now works as: Household and Communities Project Officer
Now works for: National Energy Foundation
I graduated with a First Class BA Honours in Geography and a 200xp Bangor Employability Award. The main reason I chose Bangor was the friendly atmosphere, close proximity to all things Geography and having the opportunity to complete a professional placement with Severn Wye Energy Agency during my degree.
Following this, I decided to pursue postgraduate studies at Aberystwyth University and completed an MA in Regional and Environmental Policy which complemented my interdisciplinary background already gained from studying at Bangor.
The academic and professional experience gained during my studies has meant I have now secured employment at the National Energy Foundation working on a number of projects around Energy Efficiency and Fuel Poverty. During the role, I have also had the opportunity to lead on Home Energy Conservation Act (HECA) reporting for a number of local authorities and present at large events including a recent Public Health England seminar.
Bangor was an amazing place to study Geography and the opportunity to gain professional experience whilst studying helped me gain the perfect graduate role!
