Fru Parsons 鈥 MSc Conservation and Land Management
鈥淭he skills that I was taught at Bangor turned out to be a lifesaver. The baseline knowledge and skills involved with overall land management and the ability to write management plans and reports allowed me to succeed. On a side note, don鈥檛 forget to flex your social muscles. Social skills and enthusiasm are just as important if not more so than academic knowledge. My boss has told me that above all else he looks for enthusiasm and you won鈥檛 be able to portray this across without good social skills 鈥 remember this! Work hard and play hard 鈥 I know I did.鈥
