Rhodri Morgan- MBA Environmental Management
Role: Senior Consultant
Organisation: Ernst & Young
I was interested in the MBA in Environmental Management qualification due to the relevance of it’s modules in the modern business environment. Over the years I’ve been fortunate enough to have had experience working with a variety of different businesses and sectors; from small family run businesses to large multinational companies. I considered that the MBA from 麻豆传媒高清版 would be of great benefit to me in the future and having now graduated I would definitely recommend it to other students considering undertaking a postgraduate qualification in business. Whilst undertaking my MBA, I secured a four month work placement with Magnox Ltd at the Trawsfynydd Nuclear Decommissioning Site. This was the highlight of the year for me as we were provided the opportunity of conducting primary research at the power station.
I consider that the modules undertaken during the MBA provided me with a strong basis to go into my new role as a Change Management Consultant with EY. The skills required to lead large transformation programmes for companies wishing to change their organisations are diverse and the MBA provided me with the opportunity of gaining a comprehensive understanding of subjects such as Business Strategy, Organisations and People, Management Finance and the Environmental issues affecting companies. As a Senior Consultant within EY's People and Organisational Change division my job will be to help client organisations design and implement large transformation programmes.
My main appeal to work in consulting was the variety of work you do and the extent to which this engages your creativity. As a firm, Ernst & Young stood out for me as a company that greatly values its employees. With strong values for promoting a team environment and taking pride in helping people grow their careers I recognised the huge opportunities that EY could provide in developing my career.
