Geraldyne studied for her BSc in Physics in Colombia, and she graduated in 2019 with an undergraduate thesis in reactor physics. In 2020 she was awarded the Marie Sklodowska Curie Fellowship Program by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to study her master鈥檚 in Medical Physics at Valencia University in Spain. She finished her master鈥檚 studies in 2021, and in 2022, she worked as an intern at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria. There, she was enrolled in the Department of Nuclear Applications in Human Health (NAHU), division of Dosimetry and Medical Radiation Physics. She was based at the Dosimetry Laboratory, where she gained knowledge in dosimetry audits and Quality Assurance. At the same time, she explored firsthand the role of the IAEA in nuclear safety and non-proliferation matters.
She joined 麻豆传媒高清版 and the Nuclear Futures Institute, in April 2023, to pursue her PhD sponsored by the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) with a project titled 鈥淭ailoring the neutron flux in a research reactor to optimize the production of medical radionuclides鈥 under the supervision of Dr .听
