Student Counselling Service
Wrexham Students
Welcome to the Counselling Service web page for Wrexham Students.
The Counselling Service is available online to support you.
We can offer audio/video support sessions, bookable on the day that you contact us, and online assessments and counselling sessions. These all take place via the Microsoft Teams platform.
Because we have moved to delivering services online, many of our groups and workshops will now be available to you too.Â
Have a look at the information on our menu, and the rest of the Counselling Service’s web pages for more information.Â
Mindfulness sessions have proved to be very popular with healthcare workers during the COVID pandemic – so consider signing up for our online Mindfulness weekly drop-in sessions.
Take a look at our comprehensive list of self-help resources and the University's Online Mental Health Resources.
Please note that we are not an emergency service. We do not run an out of hours service. If your situation seems urgent, then you should contact your GP or, if out of hours, contact Accident & Emergency Services at your local hospital. See our list of emergency contacts for other sources of help.
All enquiries/booking requests should be directed to counselling@bangor.ac.uk - Helen Williams, our office manager, will be happy to help you.
Please note – During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Counselling Service is offering alternative services; therefore the content of this page may not be up-to-date. Please see our home page for our current services.
