The Athletic Union (AU) is based at the Students Union, Pontio and proudly boasts over 60 AU clubs, ranging from hockey to mountain walking to Octopush. It is a chance for Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ students to get involved in a variety of clubs, all for free. The AU offers both competitive and recreational sports alongside the British Universities and Colleges Sports Competition programme (BUCS), with your AU having around 2000 members. Sport and Physical recreation are seen as a vital part of University experience and here in Bangor we make every effort to offer our students every opportunity we can to get involved in some sort of physical activity, whether that be walking through Snowdonia National Park or battling the Menai Straits with the rowing club or hosting our weekly intramural and interhall activities.
