Good, Weak, and Open to Grace: Christian Anthropology in a Secular Society’, Edward Hadas
Edward Hadas is a Research Fellow at Blackfriars, one of the Permanent Private Halls of Oxford University, working on Moral Economics and Finance and Catholic Social Teaching. He worked for 25 years in finance and for 15 years as a finance journalist, most recently as an economics columnist for Reuters Breakingviews. Publications: Human Goods, Economic Evils: A Moral Look at the Dismal Science (2008); Counsels of Imperfection: An Introduction to Catholic Social Teaching (2020). His book ‘Money, Finance, Reality, Morality’ is searching for a publisher.
All lectures will be virtual, via MS Teams. They’ll begin at 1pm, last for 30 - 40 minutes, and be followed by a chance to ask questions and for open discussion.
