The course is mainly delivered through a combination of lectures, workshops and seminars. You can expect to have a minimum of 12 hours contact time with academic staff during each teaching week. You will also be expected to undertake independent study and group work, and participate in online activities and discussions using our virtual learning environment. Ìý

In your first year, you will learn the core principles of finance, accounting, economics and management which will provide you with a solid theoretical grounding as well as relevant skills to apply this knowledge to business practice. We will also support you to develop your business analytical and quantitative skills which will provide a solid foundation to your learning in years two and three. Ìý

During your second year, you will build and integrate the skills and knowledge gained to examine a wide range of accounting and finance issues including strategic management accounting, management planning and control, and operations strategy. Optional modules will focus on topical issues which include Leadership and HRM, Management and Accounting Information Systems, Business Law and Marketing Research.Ìý

In your third year, you will develop your analytical skills and expertise with more specialised modules with include advanced accounting practice and regulation, strategic management and enterprise, creativity and innovation. ÌýAs in the second year, you will have the option of choosing some modules which focus on a range of contemporary business issues which include corporate governance, financial technology and international marketing.Ìý

What will you study on this course?

In Year 1, students will take 80 credits from the following topics,ÌýDiscover Economics, Principles of Management and Organisation,ÌýPrinciples of Management AccountingÌýand Principles of Financial Accounting.ÌýThere are also optional modules available in topics such asÌýBusiness Data Analytics, Foundations of Marketing, Personal Finance and BankingÌýandÌýFinancial Techniques and Analysis. Students can also choose optional modules from other Business School level 4 modules or from elsewhere in the University, subject to timetabling constraints.

In Year 2, students will take 80 credits from the following topics,ÌýManagement Planning and Coordination, Operations Strategy across the Enterprise, Financial ReportingÌýandÌýStrategic Management Accounting. There are also optional modules available in topics such asÌýBusiness Information Systems, Commercial awareness and insight of work, Investment and Portfolio Management, Leadership and HRM, Management & Accounting Information SystemsÌýandÌýMarketing Research and CRM. Students can also choose optional modules from other Business School level 5 modules or from elsewhere in the University, subject to timetabling constraints and pre-requisites.

In Year 3, students will take 80 credits from topics such asÌýStrategic Management, Auditing, Taxation and Enterprise, creativity and innovation. There are also optional modules available in topics such asÌýCorporate Governance, Financial Statement Analysis, FinTech in banking, finance, investment, insurance and regulation, International Strategic MarketingÌýand International Business & Global Competency. Students can also choose optional modules from other Business School level 6 modules or from elsewhere in the University, subject to timetabling constraints and pre-requisites.

• The cost of a full-time undergraduate course is £9,250 per year (2025/26).

Additional Costs
There are also some common additional costs that are likely to arise for students on all courses, for example:

• If you choose to study abroad or take the International Experience Year as part of your course.
• If you attend your Graduation Ceremony, there will be a cost for gown hire (£25-£75) and cost for additional guest tickets (c.£12 each).

Course-specific additional costs
Depending on the course you are studying, there may be additional course-specific costs that you will be required to meet. These fall into three categories:

1. Mandatory Costs: these are related to a particular core or compulsory module that you’ll be required to complete to achieve your qualification e.g. compulsory field trips, uniforms for students on placement, DBS Check.
2. Necessarily Incurred Costs: these may not be experienced by all students, and will vary depending on the course e.g. professional body membership, travel to placements, specialist software, personal safety equipment.
3. Optional Costs: these depend on your choice of modules or activity and they are shown to give you an indication of the optional costs that may arise to make sure your choice is as informed as possible. These can include graduation events for your course, optional field trips, Welcome Week trips.

Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ offers International Incorporated Bachelor Degrees for International students whose High School qualification is not equivalent to the UK school leaving qualification. The first year (or Year 0) is studied at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ International College, an embedded College on our University campus and delivered by Oxford International Education Group.
