Celebrating the successes of the Welsh Language Skills Certificate鈥檚 latest recipients
As part of the Shwmae Su'mae Week celebrations here at 麻豆传媒高清版, an event will be held to celebrate the work of Bangor Branch students from the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol. It will serve as an opportunity to showcase those students who have successfully obtained the Language Skills Certificate this year. Some of the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol鈥檚 Ambassadors who are studying at Bangor will also be there.
The informal event will take place in Gorad, Pontio, at 2 o'clock on Wednesday, October 17th.
The Welsh Language Skills Certificate is a nationally-accredited WJEC qualification, and it has been developed to enable students studying in Wales to have their language skills and their ability to work through Welsh language certified. A number of leading employers have already declared their support for the Certificate, including ITV Wales, the Welsh Government and the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board.
The event at Pontio is open to staff and students and is an opportunity to learn about the Branch's work over tea and cake, with Wil Chidley, an Ocean Sciences student who is also a member of the popular band, Patrobas, performing a musical set.
