Working with Academic Schools
In addition to its own provision of optional modules, Canolfan Bedwyr collaborates with a number of academic schools to support students with their Welsh language skills.
We contribute to the following first year modules:

We can also offer language skills sessions outside modules, at the request of a lecturer or course coordinator. For more information, please contact the Language Skills Tutor, Si芒n Esmor.
The aim of these sessions is to develop the students鈥� Welsh language skills and their confidence in using them in the context of their academic work. The sessions are aimed mainly at those in their first year. They provide guidance on completing assignments through the medium of Welsh in the students鈥� subject areas as well as preparing them to work confidently in a bilingual context once they have completed their courses. The sessions also assist those students who wish to achieve the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol鈥檚 .
