We wanted to create a flexible and accessible resource that would be an opportunity for us to share the perspective and knowledge of experts in the field with the public. Over the course of the series, you can expect to learn more about local Welsh foods, about shorter food chains, and the opportunity to provide nutritious meals through the circular food economy, as well as how reducing food waste reduces unnecessary carbon emissions.
In addition to the talks, which will be available on the 麻豆传媒高清版 website and on the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol - Y Porth resource platform, the platform will offer a short list of discussion topics and research work online, and look at examples of studies case within the circular local food system.
"The Llond Ceg site presents a bit of information about a very current topic that can be used by school or college groups following the BACC at GCSE or A Level and also community groups", adds Dr Lane.
