Accommodation FAQs
Bedrooms
All bedrooms are single occupancy only, with en-suite shower and W.C. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Bedrooms are arranged in units of 8 rooms sharing a kitchen area. Guests will be accommodated in adjacent rooms whenever possible. The kitchen has tables and chairs, and a cooker, microwave, kettle and fridge. You are welcome to use these facilities but pots / pans and crockery and utensils are not provided.
Bed and Breakfast
If you choose Bed and Breakfast you will receive a full breakfast, including cooked and continental options, served on a self-service basis. Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 9.00am.
Room Only
If you choose the Room Only option, the shared kitchen is available for self-catering but NO pots / pans or utensils are provided, you should bring your own.
Check In and Check Out
Check in is from 2pm-8pm in Neuadd Reichel, after 8pm you can collect your keys from security*. Please contact us for further information around check in.
Rooms must be vacated and keys returned by 9.30am on departure day.
Children
Accommodation is not suitable for children younger than 11. Children must be aged 11 or older at the time of their visit, and accompanied by a responsible adult.
Group and Educational Packages
Our accommodation packages offer groups a high quality catering and accommodation in single, en-suite rooms with no single room supplements!
Catering is of exceptionally high standard with specially designed menus to include full breakfast, packed lunches or hot lunches and evening meals.
Many groups also choose to have a celebration dinner during their stay and we can offer a range of special menus and entertainment, such as a Welsh harpist or disco to make the evening memorable.
Where is the nearest train station/airport?
By road - Travel directions, downloadable campus maps, etc . are available on the Information for Visitors pages on the main Bangor University website.
By Bus - Arriva Bus serves Bangor daily, see the website for details.
By rail - Bangor is easily accessible from most areas of Britain by train and has regular direct services to London via Crewe. See the for details on train services to Bangor station.
By sea - Traveling from Ireland you have the choice of superferries or fastcraft from Dublin or Dun Laoghaire. For details on sailing times, please see or .
Holyhead Port is only a 30 minute journey away by car, or there is a direct rail service to Bangor which takes approximately 30 minutes. See the for details.
By air - Anglesey airport is 25 minutes away by car and has daily flights to and from Cardiff. Details can be found on the website.
The international airports of Liverpool and Manchester airports are approximately 1 陆 hours' drive from The University. There are also a frequent rail services from Manchester Airport or Liverpool.
