Equalities, Diversity & Inclusion In CELT

We support teaching staff in developing inclusive and relevant curriculums across academic schools at 麻豆传媒高清版, and our work covers many of the existing equality, diversion and inclusion frameworks within the institution. Using course materials that students can see themselves reflected in, providing support for the diverse needs of students and providing inclusive opportunities for all helps to foster a sense of belonging, attracts a broad range of students to the university and maintains student engagement.

Academics find that making modules more inclusive can enhance their teaching practice. To find out more, attend our continuous professional development workshops where equalities training is a regular focus.

Our work on equality, diversity and inclusion contributes to six workstreams:

  • Capture data and current activity related to teaching and learning across the institution
  • Identify and share best practice and areas for improvement
  • Contribute teaching and learning actions towards the Strategic Equality Plan
  • 聽Contribute to 麻豆传媒高清版's application for the Silver Athena SWAN award by sharing EDI teaching and learning actions and plans across the institution, such as the degree outcomes report
