Our booking system opens for returning students on 20th November 2024. This is so that everyone has a fair chance to book their preferred accommodation. Students who are currently living in our halls with be emailed with a reminder that the booking system is open.

Once you have read all our essential information and chosen your preferred room type, you will be ready to apply. Our booking systems open for current students on 20th November 2024. This is so that everyone has a fair chance to book their preferred accommodation.
You do not need to pay when you book your room. Remember to apply early so that you have a better chance of securing your perfect room.
Step-by Step Guide
* If you already live in Halls you can jump to Number 6.
- The booking system opens 20th November 2024.
- You will need your Bangor ID number which starts with 500 and also a link to 'Book your room' where you will get started by 'Registering your Account'.
- The first field on the left-hand side asks for your Family Name, please put only your surname here, not your full name. You will also be asked for your date of birth, your email address and asked to create a password.Ìý
- Once you have done this, you will be sent an email from the Halls of Residence Team to validate your email address. Click on the link in the email to validate your email address.Ìý
- You will then be taken back to the Accommodation login page where you can sign-in to your account with your Bangor ID (the number starting with 500) and your password. Press Login.
- You may wish to bookmark this page so you can go back to it at a later date.
- You will now be on the page where you can create an application for a place in Halls.
- Click on New Application under the relevant year. Ìý
- Click on Create Application.
- You'll be taken to another page titled 'Information About You'.Ìý
- Check that all your personal details are correct.Ìý
- Select your preferred language of communication (English or Cymraeg/Welsh).
- Once you are happy with the information, click Continue.
- You will be taken to the next page titled 'Disability / Enduring health conditions - Reasonable Adjustments’. You will be asked if you have any disability related requirements that would affect the type of room you require.
- If you answer 'Yes' to the questions on this page, you will not be able to continue with the application online and a member of the Halls of Residence Team will contact you to discuss your requirements.
- If you answer 'No' to the questions on this page, click Continue and you'll be taken to the 'Room Selection' page.Ìý
- It’s time to select your room. On the left-hand side of the page, you can select your weekly budget for accommodation and on the right-hand side, you can filter by the different types of accommodation available. The type of accommodation that matches your budget and preferences will come up on the page.Ìý
- Click on the Images tab to see where the halls you have selected are located and the Facilities tab to see what facilities are available at your chosen halls.Ìý
- To book your room, click on the Rooms tab and you will see a floor plan of the Halls you have chosen. On the bottom, right-hand side, there will be tick boxes for each room on the plan which you will be able to tick to select if the room is available. Ìý Ìý
- Once you have ticked to select your room and you are certain that you are happy with your room choice, click Book Now on the right-hand side next to the tick boxes.
- You will then be asked to confirm your choice. Only click Continue if you are happy with your choice. You will not be able to go back to change your choice once you have selected Continue.Ìý
- If you have selected Continue, you will be taken to another page titled 'Your Offer'.
- This page details the terms and conditions and is a legally binding contract.Ìý
- Please read the terms and conditions carefully and if you agree, tick the 'I have read and understood the above terms and conditions' tick box and put in your username (your Bangor ID number starting with 500) and password.Ìý
- If you are happy to proceed, click on 'I am happy to proceed and agree to the terms and conditions'. You will have 3 days to accept the offer.
You can go back to at any time. Please note, that at this stage, you will not be able to click on the link to 'Your Room'. This link will only be activated when you move in.
In the August before you move into Halls, we will email you with information about your online accommodation induction which you will need to complete before moving in.
