Overview
I am a conservation biologist with a background in conservation genomics and biodiversity monitoring. My reserach has primarily focused on biodiversity conservation within tropical forest environments. Previous research project have focused on topics such as lemur ecology and biogeography in Madagascar, including aye-aye populatoin genomics, conservation of forest habitat, and using biodiversity monitoring to assess conservation impact and potentail. I am interested in the application of genomics to biodiversity conservation. This has led to reserach projects to assess species richness, compare historic and present genomic divesrity to assess the risks of low genomic diversity to threatened species including tigers and vultures across the Indian subcontinent.Â
