We have active research programmes, investigating boreal and tropical forests and everything in between.

Our research work spans the following topics:

  • forests and climate change adaption
  • mitigation
  • deforestation
  • biodiversity
  • disaster recovery
  • food security
  • flood protection
  • nutrient cyclingÌý
  • human wellbeing
  • conservation
