The National Education Show 2024 returns to Llandudno on Friday, 14th June 2024, with �鶹��ý����� alumna Einir Williams playing a pivotal role in its establishment in North Wales.

The National Education Show delivers inspiring seminars from educational sector leaders, and provides teachers and others involved in education with opportunities to meet a wide variety of exhibitors specifically catering for the education sector, ranging from early years to further education. 

Einir Williams, a �鶹��ý����� graduate in Education and Social Policy, brings over fifteen years of teaching experience in north Wales, where she was deputy head and headteacher. Her dedication to education led her to a career shift, relocating to Cardiff to contribute to the profession in new ways. Joining the National Education Show and NSM Training & Consultancy, Einir was keen to bring the successful conference, which is already established in Cardiff, up to north Wales, emphasising the importance of providing equal opportunities for professional development in all regions.

Reflecting on the significance of the Show, Einir commented, " As someone deeply rooted in education in north Wales, I'm proud to have expanded this platform to my local area and to have it supported by institutions like my alma mater �鶹��ý�����, which plays a pivotal role in nurturing future educators. The demand for the National Education Show in Llandudno underscores the necessity for ongoing support and development within the education sector. "

The Show aims to provide educators with opportunities to enhance their skills, elevate teaching standards, and enrich learning experiences. Attendees can expect access to over 40 continuous, professional development (CPD) seminars, invaluable strategies, resources to support learners, and networking opportunities with peers and industry experts. Exhibitors will showcase the latest products and services available to the sector. 

Professor Enlli Thomas, Head of College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences and Professor of Education Research at �鶹��ý����� emphasised the University's commitment to supporting events like the National Education Show. 

"As educators, it is our responsibility to foster an environment of continuous learning and development. We are proud to support initiatives that empower teachers and contribute to the advancement of the profession. We will be presenting seminar topics emanating from our own research work, such as the ‘Ein Llais Ni’ project that adopts a co-constructive approach to developing and evaluating teaching strategies, methods and approaches designed to develop pupils’ oracy skills in Welsh.  These opportunities to provide research-informed professional learning opportunities and training for teachers are invaluable, both for teachers and for researchers”.

Einir added ‘I am particularly proud that the event takes into account the full curriculum in Wales, in particular focusing on supporting education through the medium of Welsh with projects such as Ein Llais ni.
