Overview
Undertaking a part time MScRes looking at conservation prioritisation with reference to Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA) in Tanzania. Exploring to what extent Tanzania鈥檚 threatened and endemic biodiversity is covered by the current KBA and Protected Area (PA) systems; identifying biases and gaps in the current KBA and broader PA system鈥檚 biodiversity coverage and proposing what could be done to ensure Tanzania鈥檚 KBA system effectively represents - and thus strengthens protection of the nation鈥檚 terrestrial biodiversity.
Currently working as Communications Lead for Oxford Unversity's Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU). Previously worked for Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) East Africa, Madagascar and Western Indian Ocean Program (EAMWIO).
