What difference has the Commonwealth Masters Scholarship made to you?
It鈥檚 a miracle to be on a scholarship because it takes all of the financial burdens off your mind and gives you a free mind to concentrate on your studies.
How did your application stand out?
I chose a programme aligned with my future career, which helped me to passionately write my scholarship essays. There was consistency in my writing as I only provided the exact answers to the scholarship questions, and I avoided bringing in unnecessary information that was not requested.
Your tips for a good scholarship application?
Have goals for applying for a scholarship and make sure you choose a programme of your interest
Read the application requirements to understand what the scholarship committee expects
Write critically and be consistent with your answers
Don鈥檛 write in the passive voice
What鈥檚 been the best part about your Bangor studies so far?
I'm enjoying my programme and I'm learning a lot, which I'm sure will help me in my career. The lecturers are outstanding, and I like their mode of lecturing, they are always available and ready to help students. My classmates are good too.

It's not easy to apply, but it's worth it. You may not get it on your first attempt, but don鈥檛 give up. Keep applying and put in your best. God being good, you will receive the good news of a scholarship award one day.
