I chose Bangor because it was close to home and offered a great range of modules in both Welsh and English.

The Course

I'm really enjoying the modules, in particular I really enjoyed my contract law module.

The Academic School

The best thing about my school is the lecturers. They make the lectures engaging and interesting, and have even delivered this throughout the online lectures.

Support

My personal tutor has really helped me with any of my queries and has helped me plan applications for work experience and the like.

Social Life

In my spare time I enjoy going on hikes with my friends and having movie nights with my housemates.

Living in Halls

I lived in Halls in my first year. It was a great experience and I really enjoyed making friends with my flatmates. It was hard to feel lonely and my flatmates really helped me feel less homesick.

Best thing about Bangor?

I love how close Bangor is to the mountains and the sea. Also I like how small Bangor is, it doesn't feel like a city.

Bangor Employability Award

So far I've been working towards completing the first stage of the Bangor Employability Award. It has really helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses and how to address them effectively. It has also really helped me consider my options post-graduating.
