The most difficult thing about being an International Student
As an international student, I had my ups and downs. The usual difficult thing about being an international student is settling in and adapting to the new environment, culture, and climate, espeically being away from my family, that is the most difficult and challenging part.
Clubs and Societies
I am a member of the Bangor Indian Society and used to be involved in the student volunteering society, I am also a member of the Bangor Badminton and Trampoline Club.
What social activities do you enjoy
I enjoy going for walks around North Wales at the weekends with friends as well as trekking up the nearby mountains. I like to socialise and interact with new people by engaging in different activities. I love exploring new amazing places.
Advice for new International students
I would like to tell them that Bangor is one of the best places to continue your education. Be prepared and ready to adapt to a new environment and climate. Moving to a new city or country can be quite intimidating at first but there are many people around who are willing to help. Keep an open mind and enjoy this amazing journey.
