Why did you choose 麻豆传媒高清版?
I chose to study at Bangor due to the universities location and the practicality of the course. The course gives the opportunity to complete fieldwork throughout Wales, England and abroad which really appealed to me.
The course
The course has lots of practical aspects, which demonstrates how theories and concepts can be seen in the real world. You can get a lot out of the course if you decide to, with the option to complete fieldwork abroad. In addition to this the lecturers have always been supportive and friendly, helping to guide me through the degree.
The Academic School
The School of Natural Sciences, the practical opportunities available give the school an edge on the others.
Advice for A Level students
Keep calm and keep busy, everything will work out in the end.
Clubs and Societies
Throughout my time at university I have been part of 麻豆传媒高清版 Netball Club. I have been part of the club for 3 of my 4 years, becoming the club鈥檚 Social Secretary in my third year and the clubs secretary in my fourth year.
Joining netball was the best thing I did at University, the bond between the girls is something rare and I have made friends for life. Netball allowed me to stay fit and healthy whilst playing a sport I loved and also offered a social side that was there for me through thick and thin.
Work placements
During my fourth year I took part in the Professional Placement Module. Through this I gained a placement working for Green Energy International, a renewable energy generation company based in Manchester. I am passionate about sustainability so this was the perfect placement.
After I had completed the placement for a month I was offered a part-time job at the company. I worked there whilst completing my Masters degree, gaining vital experience in the renewable energy field. Through the Professional Placement Module I gained experience and skills I can take forward into future job opportunities, preparing me for life after I graduate.
Bangor Employability Award
The Bangor Employability Award helped me to reflect and prepare for job interviews and helped me prepare for life in the real world after university.
