What difference has the Vice Chancellor Scholarship made to you?
Obtaining this award has made me live my dreams and honestly crowned my hard work in such a great way. I am the first in my family to travel overseas on a scholarship award and it is for my dream course!
How did your application stand out?
I think how I expressed my unique journey, successes despite challenges and my goals that are bigger than me.
Your tips for a good scholarship application?
I would say that you should be proud of your journey (the tough and the easy) as well as showcase your resiliency coupled with your passion.
What鈥檚 been the best part about your Bangor studies so far?
The best part is the excellence in everything at Bangor! The practicals/workshops, the staff and welcoming demeanour at the stores and with classmates. Also the scenery!! I love nature and the greenery across the mountains, while overseeing the Menai Straits is beautiful!
Why apply?
I would say that no matter the "no's" or the "doubts", believe in yourself to give it your best shot because your dreams should not be given up on. All the best!
