The International Ambassador Scheme
With the experience I had this year I would really like to help out with future international students, during welcome week and throughout their first year and to help them settle into university. Having support from others really helps.
Why Bangor
I chose to study at Bangor mainly because of the location, i'm studying Adventure Sports Science, and Bangor in North Wales, has many mountains, lakes, and rivers where I can go exploring.
Most beautiful thing about being an International Student at 麻豆传媒高清版
I think the beauty of being an international student at Bangor is knowing all the people around you, in university there are a lot of people around, the community is very diverse. Each student is different and we all come from different backgrounds and I would like to help students to bond and make new friends.
The most difficult thing about being an International Student
In September when I came to Bangor, I found the most difficult thing was trying to get to know people and fit into the community. It takes times for some students to get out of their comfort zone.
Clubs and Societies
I have joined the Badminton club and St. John's Methodist Church.
What social activities do you enjoy
I would like to join an orchestra , and also another sport club but the times seems to clash this year so i'm hoping to join next year.
Advice for new International students
The advice I would give would be don't be shy, open yourself up to others, make friends, join societies as you will meet more friends that way.
