The International Ambassador Scheme

I wanted to be an ambassador so that I get an opportunity to explore many things around people from different regions which can improve my skills in communication and leadership. As an international student, I would love to meet new people and learn about them and their countries, by striving hard to be a dedicated ambassador to the university.

Why Bangor?

Bangor, Wales, is a great place and everyone would love to come and study here, it has one of the most beautiful surroundings in the UK. It also has unique traditions and customs which every student should know about and the fact that degrees conferred in the university are recognized and well accepted all around the world. I love the university as it allowed me to choose the perfect course of my interest which very few universities offer in the whole of the UK.

Most beautiful thing about being an International Student at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ?

The best thing about being an international student at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ is that it gives us the freedom of exposure along with the best education. It has over 110 nationalities which automatically allows us to interact with different cultured students. Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ is known for its excellence in teaching, which educates us about the world and not only about a single region. We get to learn about the business, art, and science performed globally.

The most difficult thing about being an International Student?

The most difficult part of being an international student is that we need some time to get adjusted to a new place, people, language, traditions, and rules. It is just a matter of time, but once we get used to the place, we become a part of it and enjoy every moment.

Clubs and Societies

I have joined a few societies;Ìý Bangor Indian Society, Bangor Swimming club, and the Bangor Aqua club. I am trained in swimming so I love being part of that club in particular.

What social activities do you enjoy?

When it comes to social activities, I love to get involved in all of them, including going on trips to explore different places, adventurous activities, games, clubbing, musical events, and many more where I can get an opportunity to meet new people.

Advice for new International students

Through my research and observation, I have found that Bangor is the best place for academic pursuits where we get to meet new people from different regions. The location and the facilities are perfect for students which also helps us to concentrate on our studies, also the fact that degrees conferred by the university are recognized and well-accepted all around the world. The job opportunities are also high when we graduate from Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ.Ìý The good part is that I have already advised my friends and cousins about Bangor being the best place to study and would like to advise many others about my impending journey to this amazing place.
