Why did you choose Bangor?
I chose to study at 麻豆传媒高清版 for its familiar location, interesting lecturers and refreshing view of the straits and sea from the back of Main Arts building.
The Course
The variety in modules means that the reading content ranges from the medieval period, to contemporary times. This gives me such an expansive and intriguing outlook on English Literature that I had not experienced before.
Clubs and Societies
I am involved in the performing arts and musical theatre society called SODA, and took part in the Peter Pan pantomime in December 2019 where I played multiple roles as part of chorus; redskin, mermaid, fairy, and pirate.
The Location
The fact that everything is within an hour walk makes shopping and daily walking convenient, and encourages me to stay active when I'm not studying at useful studying areas like Pontio or Bangor library.
Careers and Employability
I have not been on any placements or taken a year abroad. However, the support from the university's careers team has been very helpful when they given lectures that give students more ideas on what we can do and get out of our course. This has shown me that I still have opportunities in the future and should not think I am limiting myself by choosing to stay in the UK for my undergraduate degree.
