I fell in love with the place on my first visit. Everything that the course had to offer, the exam format and the level of support offered is why I chose Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ for Psychology.
Open Day…
I visited Bangor on an Open Day and the place resonated well with me, it felt right.
The course…
The best thing about the course is the level of support offered, to enable me the best opportunity to fulfill my potential as an undergraduate student.
The Academic School…
The School of Psychology has such a communal feeling, the lecturers are so welcoming and willing to offer support.
Clubs and societies...
I have experienced Jiu Jihtsu, five/seven aside football and Medical Sciences Society. Jiu Jihtsu was a friendly environment where you had the best opportunity to develop a new skill. Football was very enjoyable, being able to meet many people of similar interests, made it a pleasant experience. The Medical Sciences Society was one that was really trying to develop, being open to any person to join and trying to make everyone feel comfortable whilst listening to presentations.
Social activities…
Football is what I enjoy most, followed by many keep fit exercises.
Living in Bangor…
The scenery is phenomenal, there are so many positions to look at such a variety of mountains and sea. Bangor is a town where everything is very accessible, creating a pleasant communal feeling.
Bangor Employability Award…
I have been involved in volunteering for victim support. I have renditioned in many paid roles for the university and participated in many other extra-curricular activities. Some of the paid roles included library ambassador, and involved in designing a project to improve the library services. I was also a mentor for presentation skills on my course, hosting sessions where students improved their public speaking skills.
