Why Bangor
The type of modules that are included in my course and the strength of Bangor Business School made me choose Bangor. I also prefer small and quiet places which are contained in Bangor.
The International Ambassador Scheme
Most people like me, want to talk to someone who has experienced the same thing that they want to do, to make sure it worth doing it, which is why I see international ambassadors as the most appropriate way to communicate before coming to Bangor. It is also a good opportunity to be an Ambassador who helps other people.
What is the most difficult thing about being an International Student?
Cultural shock, and engaging in the community, are what we international students may encounter, but we always get used to it quickly.
The course
Modules are valuable and it is the best way to gain knowledge in your subject.
The lecturers
The study is generally enjoyable and there is great cooperation from the academic staff.
Clubs and societies
I am somewhat involved with the Saudi club, here I volunteered at UniBrass 2020 which was my first step to volunteering in Bangor.
Bangor and the area
Football, swimming and volleyball are the activities that I love to do which I always find in Bangor.
The best thing about living in Bangor
The small city that it is, and the beauty that it has. The people here and of course the weather! .
Support from the University
There is a lot of support is given, whether it is from the university or from the International Student Support Office or from my personal tutor.
Advice for new International students?
Find your Accommodation and bring your coat with you. Just come!
