Hannah graduated in 2019 with a BA in Creative Studies and is now a English Teacher in a Secondary School.

Tell us a bit about your experience at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ….

I had a wonderful time at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ, it started off a little bit wobbly, moving so far away from home but when I joined a couple of societies my experience completely changed.

Why did you choose to study at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ?

The course offered was so different to what else was on offer, it didn’t limit me to one vocation. When I came for an open day, I was stunned by the environment and knew it was the right place for me.

In what way did studying at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ enhance your employability?

Due to being quite a small university, I felt I was able to participate in a number of experiences that really helped my CV, like a number of society-made films, a Santander work internship and creating content for The Welsh Mountain Zoo.

What advice would you give to students studying in the Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ?

Especially if you do a creative subject, join the societies, they are free and the relationships you will develop will undoubtedly help you in the long run. It is also such a good way to develop your skills outside of the lecture hall.

In one sentence, what was your favorite thing about studying at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ?

The creative freedom and beautiful views.
