Religious Studies Revision Sessions at Easter attracting 180+
During April 2023, the School of History, Law and Social Sciences attracted over 180 attendees to 6 days of Religious Studies revision sessions for A level students.
During the Easter 2023 break, the School of History, Law and Social Sciences held six days of revision sessions aimed at A Level students currently studying Religious Studies. The sessions were co-ordinated by various Philosophy, Ethics and Religion experts from the School, and attracted over 180 A Level pupils and Religious Education teachers throughout the United Kingdom.
Dr Gareth Evans-Jones said, 'The purpose of these sessions was to assist pupils as they revise for their A Level exams. The four of us held talks about different aspects of Philosophy, Ethics and Religion, with the hope of summarizing the interesting subjects the pupils have been studying.'
The Philosophy, Ethics and Religion faculty will hold a Summer School at the end of July in order to give prospective students and the public a taste of the type of the subjects taught at university level.
