Congratulations to Raja Asad who single handed came an impressive sixth overall in a competitive UBC Global Masters 2019-20 Grand Final held as a virtual event on Thursday 2 April 2020. All teams overcame the global lockdown to make the day an outstanding and memorable learning experience.
The Global Masters is a simulation-based competition specifically designed to develop the employability skills of high-calibre postgraduate students. World-class business simulations give the opportunity to run a series of businesses enabling the development of an 鈥榚ntrepreneurial mindset鈥 and providing a real test of each team鈥檚 ability to drive business performance.

Raja commented "My experience with UBC has been tremendously valuable, I managed to learn how to run an existing established business in the first round and then to run a start-up from scratch in the Global Masters final. It has been a very unique experience and one where I developed a lot of my personal and professional skills. I would recommend anyone thinking to participate in the UBC Masters to absolutely go for it, it will be a great way to learn teamwork skills, decision-making, and presentation skills."
