Training lead for Pathology in BCU. Lots of educational projects like creating teaching materials, managing training applications, career events, making reports, enchasing career development of our team.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Getting to work on a range of varied local and national projects with lots of skilled colleagues. Also, seeing the moment when someone has learnt something that makes lot of connected information all fall into place and they see the big picture about what was being thought.
What would you say to someone thinking about a career in the NHS?
Make sure you are clear on the needs of the role you want to undertake and what it takes to get them; like accredited degrees and portfolios.
