The Importance of Clinical Trials
As reported in the Western Mail on 5th November, Rhiannon Whitaker of 麻豆传媒高清版's North Wales Organisation for Randomised Trials in Health (NWORTH) has been highlighting the fact that more data is not necessarily better data. It is the way that data is collected and analysed that can make all the difference. Rhiannon is a Senior Research Fellow and statistician who designs, runs and analyses a wide range of clinical trials investigating questions which focus on quality of life. This can range from how to help young people have enough information to help them manage their own diabetes to how to educate care workers to recognise how aware people with advanced dementia are.
