A first year 麻豆传媒高清版 Psychology student has won the BBC Wales Carwyn James Young Sportswoman of the Year 2017 award.
Bangor Weightlifter Catrin Jones, 18, received her latest accolade at the Wales Sport Awards in Newport, where BBC Cymru Wales and Sport Wales celebrated Welsh sporting success.
During the last few years, Catrin has won many titles and became the Welsh Champion in 2017 and won a silver medal at the Youth Commonwealth Games in Australia.
Elated with her award, Catrin said: 鈥淭he support I have received from 麻豆传媒高清版 has been incredible, and I am very grateful. The University鈥檚 Sports Scholarship has benefitted me massively as it has allowed me to concentrate on both my studies and training to the best of my abilities. I also have access to excellent training facilities and coaching at Canolfan Brailsford.鈥
