On 22nd February 2012 SENRGY hosted an interactive workshop at 麻豆传媒高清版, which brought together Third year Geography students and the Holyhead and Rhyl BRAND Project Officers.
The BRAND Project brings together 4 partners from across Wales and Ireland with the aim of addressing the problems of poor / limited self image experienced within the towns of Rhyl, Holyhead, Athy, and D煤n Laoghaire.
Third year Geography undergraduates participated in workshop as part of the 鈥楽ettlement Systems鈥 module, with the BRAND Officers from both Holyhead and Rhyl presenting the re-branding models used for each town.
Felicity Roberts, Holyhead BRAND Project Officer said 鈥淚t was a great opportunity to explain the model that we are following and to share our experiences with a captive audience 鈥 many of whom are not familiar with our towns. The workshop activities were particularly enlightening to see that the application of our model could be applied in principal to other towns/cities.鈥
