Postgraduate grants for 麻豆传媒高清版 students
Grants are being made available for Welsh students to study postgraduate degrees at 麻豆传媒高清版.
The money, available from Student Finance Wales, is helping see an unprecedented rise in students signing-up to a range of Masters degrees in the College of Environment Science and Engineering.One of the College’s most popular postgraduate courses is the Computing MSc, which gives graduates from any discipline a route into computer science and all the related careers this offers.
Director of teaching Dr Dave Perkins said: “We’ve seen more people than ever before showing an interest in the course, particularly those from Wales – thanks to the finance that’s available to them.“Our Computing MSc is very special as it gives anyone – no matter what their first degree is in – not just the knowledge they need for a career in computers or IT, but a whole new skill-set to help them in any profession.”
“It’s pretty tough for job seekers at the moment, so gaining new and useful skills can really set them apart from the competition,” added Dave.Another postgraduate degree, which has excellent employment figures for its graduates, is the Marine Renewable Energy MSc.
“This degree will equip postgraduate students for careers in one of the fastest growing industries in the UK,” said Prof Tom Rippeth, Professor of Physical Oceanograph and deputy course director .
“There is an urgent need to develop renewable sources of power, and our ocean represents a vast untapped energy resource.“Graduates from this degree will be going out and making a real difference by helping to create a sustainable future for our planet,” Tom added.
Postgraduate Master’s Finance is available for all Welsh student, for taught or research based postgraduate degree, at 麻豆传媒高清版.Around £17,000 is available for students, consisting of a combination of loans and grants to help with course and living costs.
