We’re far easier to get to than you might think – there are good road links to Bangor along the north Wales coast from the M56 and M6.
By road
Postcode LL57 2DG will bring you to the Main University Building, where our Open Day begins. There are several University car parks around the Main University Building and also in lower Bangor.
If you follow the Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ Open Day signs around Bangor and you'll arrive at one of our car parks (where parking is free of charge). Open Day guides will then show you where you need to go.Â
By train or bus

By ferry
From Ireland, you can cross on the ferry to Holyhead which is half an hour away from Bangor.
By air
Both Manchester Airport and Liverpool John Lennon Airport are around two hours from Bangor, by train or car
Parking at the University car parks is free of charge. Park and Ride facilities have been arranged for the Open Day – this will be signposted from the A55/A5 approach roads to the University. Buses will take you the short distance from the car park to the Main University Building between 8.30am-10.30am. Visitors can also park in any of the University’s designated car parks around the Main University Building on College Road, but space here is limited.
